A Little About Me

Hi, I'm Mo!

I've been tattooing for around 15 years and have spent the last 13 running Geordies Tattoo Studio in Byker, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Art and drawing have always been a big part of my life, and I love turning people's ideas into tattoos that are personal to them.

I work on my own from a private, appointment-only studio, so you'll always have my full attention throughout your sitting.

I particularly enjoy black-and-grey work and larger, more detailed tattoos, although I work with a variety of styles and ideas.

For bigger projects, I offer half-day and full-day sittings, giving us plenty of time to concentrate on the details without feeling rushed.

Whether it's your first tattoo or you're planning your next big piece, you're always welcome at Geordies Tattoo Studio.

The Man Behind the Name

Sepia photograph of Geordie, the grandad whose memory inspired the name Geordies Tattoo Studio, sitting with his arms folded.

Geordies Tattoo Studio is named after my grandad, Geordie.

He passed away in March 2013, just five months before I opened the studio in August that year. He knew how much opening my own tattoo studio meant to me, so naming it after him felt like the perfect way to keep a little piece of him with me.

He always said he wanted me to tattoo his hand with the words “bottle of Brown Ale please”. Sadly, I never got the chance.

He had a wicked sense of humour, and I reckon he'd have loved knowing his name was above the door all these years later.

The studio might be mine, but the name will always be his. ❤️
